About our Approach,
At CMHARTS, we help those who can't help themselves.
We aim to create advocacy and make our community more accepting and inclusive.

World Schizophrenia Day
This year's theme for Schizophrenia Awareness Day is "Power of Community Kindness." This group activity was intended to help patients express their thoughts and feelings in a written sentence by writing one message they want to send out to the community. What they feel about the community they live in, along with the way the community treats them, serves as a very powerful message.

It was not only heartwarming to see how they poured out their hearts but also disheartening to see how some of them have faced negativity from people around them. It also highlighted the topic of stigmatization and how some of us still carry strong negative feelings towards them.

Let’s aim to increase our awareness of the illness, be mindful and supportive towards them, and make the community a better and more inclusive place to live in.
Jigsaw Puzzle for Ulta Pulta group.
We are a support group for patients who are on their journey of recovery. Our intention is to provide the extra step and push to help them improve their overall functionality and live positively, satisfactorily, and independently within the community.
Additionally, our support group also holds a family support group once every month and a half. Our aim is to create awareness and advocacy among family members and to assist them in coping with the emotional changes they experience while caring for the patient.
Ulta Pulta aims to make the community more inclusive and accepting to individuals after all, we help those who can't help themselves.

Cognitive enhancement and upskilling problem-solving skills via jigsaw puzzles. It was amazing to see how they helped and encouraged one another to solve and put together the puzzle.
